Interacting with God's Word with God's People
At First Baptist Church, we desire to see every Christian molded into a fruit-bearing disciple of Christ. This happens when followers of Jesus interact with God’s Word and with God’s people.
At First Baptist, there are a few avenues through which this growth in discipleship takes place:
Life Groups are small group Bible studies that meet directly following the Sunday Morning Service all throughout the church building. They gather for the purpose of building one another up and spurring one another on in love and good deeds through intentional instruction in God’s Word with a focus on application and “life on life” community formation.

Another way to grow in discipleship at First Baptist is through our Men’s and Women’s Ministries. Each of these ministries is designed with the goal of community in mind. These ministries feature weekly Bible or book studies, annual retreats and conferences, and various service projects around the community.
FBC University takes place Sunday evenings during the school year. This is a time that members can come and participate in relevant, topical classes intended to help them grow in understanding of the Bible and in practical wisdom to navigate life as a follower of Christ.
Every Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM, our church body gathers together to read Scripture, sing, and pray with one another. These services focus on praying for the needs of the world, our nation, our local community, and our church.
